Eugenio ( Eugene) Castillo has been surfing since he was a boy, and teaching in the Guanacaste region for the past 10 years. As a father of three, he has an excellent way with kids and enjoys helping children take their first steps in the world of surfing.
The Guanacaste area is home to some of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica - Playa Brasilito, Playa Grande, Playa Tamarindo & Playa Avellanas are all nearby and provide excellent surfing opportunities for all levels year round. Eugene tracks swells & tides daily so he knows where the best waters for beginner, intermediate or advanced surfers are. Eugene started North Pacific Adventures over 10 years ago. 100% locally owned and operated, he’s very proud to be part of his community as a local business owner and living the “Pura Vida” life style.
